FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask before their first test.
Does ConversionCat call an LLM?
No. Your agent does the thinking with your own model and account. ccat and the API only route, count and compute.
Which frameworks work?
Next.js App Router on Vercel today, Next 13.4 and later (middleware.ts) and Next 16 and later (proxy.ts). The API is plain HTTP, so other stacks can call it directly.
Does it slow the page down?
No request to us happens before the response, except at most 600 ms on a cold start. The decision itself takes under a millisecond and the header x-ccat-decision-ms shows it on every response.
What about SEO?
Crawlers get a decision without a cookie or an event. Variants keep the original URL and canonical tag. Keep tests short and promote the winner into the real page.
What data do you store?
A random visitor id, the variants shown, the traffic source and referrer host, conversions, and wallet addresses you link. No names, emails or IP addresses. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I see a live test?
Yes, ours: the headline on the home page is a three-variant test, and /live shows its numbers.
How do I delete a project's data?
With its key: curl -X DELETE -H "authorization: Bearer $CCAT_KEY" https://conversioncat.dev/api/v1/me removes the project, its experiments and every visitor row at once.
